The devastation left from Hurricane Katrina still haunts the communities of New Orleans today. Meet David Young the urban farmer who is transforming vacant lots in the Lower 9th Ward, into sustainable orchards. These orchards provide free or low cost healthy, affordable food to those who need it. With around 30 plots and having built the largest aquaponics system in New Orleans, over 2,500 pounds of food was given out last year to the local community.
