Teaming up with clothing Start-up Evrnu, Levi’s has launched the first pair of 511 jeans made from recycled cotton. Using a new fabric-recycling technology, worn clothing can be dissolved into a new, high-quality thread. This is excellent news as around 11 million tons of textile waste in the US alone ends up in landfills every year. Is this the beginning of a conscious change in fashion?
