Trump may think climate change is a hoax but that hasn’t stopped New Jersey passing a new law requiring the state to develop a plan to cut food waste in half by 2030. 40% of food produced in the U.S. is thrown out.  Not only is that a waste of money and food, but it is also a waste of cropland and energy. Plus, the rotting food releases methane, so it’s a great place to start for a greener future!
